Girls’ rock! Girls can be anything they want to be when they grow up. They can be astronauts, firefighters, teachers, veterinarians, lawyers, and more. They can even be fairies! Abby Cadabby, is an awesome three-year old girl, who is also a fairy. Well… she’s learning how to be a fairy anyway. She now lives on Sesame Street.

Abby Cadabby is just like any other girl. She is smart, funny, curious, kind, and wants friends who like her for herself. Abby Cadabby has her very own fairy wings and they sure are pretty in pink. She wears her purple and pink hair in very -cute and hip pigtails.

Abby Cadabby is ready for exciting adventures, meeting new people, making tons of friends, and learning new things. Abby Cadabby is only 3, so there are a whole lot of things for her to learn about. Just like all children: Abby Cadabby has to learn about the world around her and find her place in it. Discovering how her magic wand works is just one of those things! She will also learn about making friends, how to respect and love herself and others, sharing, caring for our earth and the animals, making mistakes, facing scary stuff like meeting new people or going to school for the first time, and so much more!

Abby Cadabby is sure to make a mistake or two as she tries to figure out just how to use her fairy magic. That is quite alright. We all make mistakes, especially when we are first learning about something. The most important thing for Abby Cadabby to remember and girls and boys too- is to never give up just because you make a mistake. Don’t think of mistakes as a bad thing. Instead look at mistakes as a chance to learn what works and what doesn’t. Also remember that it takes a lot of practice to become very good at something like playing a musical instrument or playing a sport. Abby Cadabby will need to practice every day if she wants to become good at using her magic. Whatever it is that you want to get good at, don’t quit or get sad if it’s hard at first. Practice! Practice! Practice! And you will get better and better.
